Two photos (colour, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm) Citizens of following countries are required to provide 3 phots and 3 copies of application form
* Citizens of Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestinian State, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Yemen
Citizens of following countries are required to provide 4 phots and 4 copies of application form

Foreign (Non-Japanese) Passport holders prepare copy of Residence card or Certificate of Alien Registration

Foreign (Non-Japanese) Passport holders prepare company business registration/license (Original)

2. Self-employed applicant must prepare business registration/license and Bank Statement.

3. Student must prepare guarantee letter from university and student card copy.
|
|
4. Pensioner must prepare bank statement or pension fund
|
|
5. H 5. House wife must prepare husband's passport copy, Alien registration card copy and marriage certificate.

A copy of recent bank statement or a copy of evidence of adequate finance
(20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family)

Airline ticket or confirmation slip with flight no., date of entry/exit and name
* Open ticket is not acceptable

Foreign (Non-Japanese) Passport holders prepare Guarantee Letter and copy of passport (or driver’s license) of a guarantor with his/her original signature. (A guarantor must be an adult who remains in Japan. An alien without the permission of permanent residence in Japan cannot be a guarantor.)

8. Visa application fee: Single entry 3,500yen Double entry 7,000yen Triple entry 10,500yen
Passport holders of Laos, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan must apply in person.
Passport holders of India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria, Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Afghanistan, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Palestinian State are requested to file for application at the Thai Embassy / Consulate-General where they have their permanent residence
Applicants without permanent residents are required to apply for Thai visa in your own country.
Passport holders of North Korea are required additional documents as follow;
- Personal History (2) Guarantee letter (3) Copy passport of guarantor
Please be noted that
- Passport holders from Middle East & South Asia and Africa may be required for interview, please apply for visa with enough time for departure.
- It takes over a month for North Korea, Iraq and Afhganistan nationalities to announce the result of visa application as permission of Thai Ministry of Foreign Affair is needed.
In the absence of a required document, a letter indicating the unavailability of such document must be provided.
